Information Technology (IT) Administrator


Reports To: Chief Technology Officer

Position Description: 

The Information Technology (IT) Administrator will manage the technology strategies for the security and scalability of our internal platforms, tools and data and productivity of our team. Responsibilities include working with our website vendor/developer to complete the redesign and re-platform of our website and act as an ongoing liaison, analyze and make recommendations for SEO best practices, and evaluate current and potential tools. You will provide application support for users to troubleshoot a variety of problems, including implementing a new Helpdesk system. The IT Administrator will also be tasked with analyzing our user and website data into concise, actionable analytics and SEO recommendations. This has the potential to be either a contracted or full-time position with benefits. 



• Maintain and monitor Infrastructure, networking & security management 

• User Management (Active Directory, Exchange, etc.) 

• Application Administrator (Office 365/SharePoint/JW/CMS) 

• Technical Support/Help Desk & End-user training 

• Video player customization & support (JW Player) 

• Video software administration and player design/updates (JW player) 

• Website support (with vendor) and content publishing/SEO recommendations 

• Tools analysis & recommendations for acquisition 

• Database administration, updates & reporting (CMS/mySQL) 

• Analytics & Reporting (Website Performance, Conversions, SEO, User Memberships) 

Software and Systems Supported: Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Office, MailChimp, Amazon S3, Microsoft SharePoint, Google Analytics, Silverstripe CMS, MySQL/Microsoft SQL Server. 


Required Qualifications: 

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in networking, system administration and troubleshooting, PC technical support (hardware and software), Data analysis, Website development or maintenance 

• Must have a strong knowledge and proven track record on implementing IT solutions for small businesses 

• Strong communication skills across multiple teams 

• Experience juggling multiple company-wide goals and working with multiple teams 

• Experience working remotely – we are a wholly “virtual” company 


Bonus Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in an Information Technology (IT) related discipline 

• Industry Certifications a plus 

• PHP/Software development experience 

• Silverstripe CMS 

• HubSpot 

• Microsoft Power BI 

• SEMrush/Website analytical tools
