Dr. Alessandra Ferrajoli is Associate Professor of Medicine at MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Ferrajoli completed her medical degree (with honors) at the University of Perugia Medical School in Perugia, Italy. Her areas of interest include the treatment and biology of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and its variants, chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML) and the acute leukemias. Dr. Ferrajoli is a member of several professional societies such the American Society of Hematology (ASH), the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO). She is board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology.
