Alison Mulholland is a Financial Navigator who joined OHC (Oncoology Hematology Care) in Cincinnati, Ohio after experiencing OHC’s passion for their patients.
Alison originally attended the University of Cincinnati with the goal of being a teacher. After taking time off her studies to be with her children, she returned to school but chose to study billing and coding. During her education, Alison completed an internship with an oncology practice and was later hired full-time.
It was during this time that Alison experienced the medical expertise and compassionate that is the hallmark of OHC. Her father-in-law was being treated by Dr. Miguel Islas-Ohlmayer and the team at OHC Kenwood. When the opportunity to join OHC arose, she eagerly accepted the offer to serve as a Financial Navigator. Recently, Alison used her knowledge and skills in a very personal manner; her mother was diagnosed with stage IV metastatic breast cancer, and she helped her mom financial assistance from various foundations. Just like so many of her other patients, Alison’s mom wouldn’t be able to cover the cost of her treatments without the help of the foundations.
