Amy Sheldrick is a Nurse Navigator at OHC (Oncology Hematology Care) in Cincinnati, Ohio. She helps guide cancer patients through the complex journey associated with cancer care, ensuring they understand every aspect of their care plan, from diagnosis to treatment to survivorship. She is a critical team member with the Oncology Care Model Initiative and multi-disciplinary patient education meetings. Amy’s most rewarding moments are knowing that she has provided her patients with accurate information and answers to their questions in order to make the best decisions. She says patients tell her they are much less overwhelmed and frightened. Her gentle nature and compassion is a trademark of the care Amy provides every single day.
Amy received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Ohio State University and has been with OHC since 2003. She serves on the Clinical Advisory Committee – Nurse Navigator Committee, which is a sub-committee of the US Oncology Network National Clinical Advisory Committee. Amy cares for patients at OHC’s West office.
