Dr. Eytan Stein is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Leukemia at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. He received his medical degree from Northwestern University in Chicago, where he also served his internal medicine residency. Dr. Stein completed his fellowships in medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College, and in medical oncology and hematology at Memorial Sloan Kettering.
He is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, American Board of Clinical Oncology, and the American Board of Hematology. Dr. Stein focuses on the treatment of acute and chronic leukemias, myelodysplastic syndromes nd myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs). His research interests include developing novel, early phase clinical trials of compounds that target the genetic and epigenetic basis of myeloid malignancies.
