After 24 weeks of chemotherapy and challenges with breathing issues, he received a clean bill of health. Shortly thereafter, George's cancer returned, and his oncologist recommended a stem cell transplant. He enrolled in a clinical trial for SGN-35, a drug since approved by the FDA (brentuximab vedotin). While his overall cardiovascular function is less than it was before cancer, George continues to pursue his love for cycling.
