Dr. Hearn J. Cho is an Associate Professor of Medicine, Hematology and Medical Oncology at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center where he also has a practice that specializes in Hematology-Oncology. Dr. Cho is also affiliated with NYU Langone Medical Center Tisch Hospital.
Dr. Cho is a Princeton man, receiving his undergraduate degree in molecular biology. He earned his doctoral degree in immunology from the Tri-Institutional MD-PhD Program of Cornell University Medical College. A resident in the Clinical Investigator Track in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of California, San Diego, Dr. Cho also completed his postdoctoral research fellowship in immunology while there. A clinical fellowship in hematology and medical oncology was completed at The New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical College, and he rounded out his training as a visiting research fellow at The Rockefeller University.
Currently, Dr. Cho’s laboratory is investigating novel therapies targeting type I melanoma antigen genes, and the MAGE-A3 gene in multiple myeloma.
