Jamie is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She enrolled in the physician assistant program at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago, Illinois in May 2012. After graduation, she accepted a job working in the leukemia department at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in September 2014. As a physician assistant in the leukemia department, Jamie spends her time working in clinic, helping manage patients in Fast Track, and doing procedures. Jamie is also involved in the Texas Gulf Coast Physician Assistant Association as their social committee chair. In addition to her role as a PA, Jamie is committed to being involved in the community and is an active volunteer for Camp for All, a camping and retreat facility for children and adults with challenging illnesses and special needs, and for One Step at a Time, an organization that provides week-long camps for children with cancer.
