Chef Jason Stefanko – Classically trained chef, Jason delivers over 14 years experience leading high volume kitchens at 3, 5 and 7 million dollars in sales annually with a proven track record for recipe development, kitchen design, profit, people development, and sales increases.
Post restaurants Jason specialized in plant based culinary specific to consumer packaged goods. 7 years experience leading all things culinary for plant-based protein company “Gardein”. He got his start building out the Gardein product portfolio with Research and Development and was a integral piece of building the brands national presence with strong leadership on the marketing and sales teams.
Jason successfully partnered Gardein with groups such as Disney, Wynn Hotels, Yardhouse, Aramark, Sodexo, Twitter, Veggie Grill, Darden Restaurant Group and some of Americas largest and most well known Colleges and Universities. During his tenure at Gardein as executive chef the company grew to over 100 million dollars in sales annually.
Currently Jason resides in Los Angeles California where he anchors his consulting company. His clientele are and have been; Ocean Hugger Foods, Good Catch vegan seafood, Impossible foods, Pinnacle/Gardein, Nascar, Director James Cameron Avatar catering company, SunRhize Tempeh, Humane Society Food forward program, and the Plant Based foods association. Jason is a passionate animal lover and environmental advocate.
