Diagnosed in 2015, Jennifer started her first year with quite a bit of excitement. She had radiation on the right hip and then spinal fusion on her thoracic spine for one of her vertebrae‘s that had been consumed by the hormone positive cancer. One month after her surgery she was in a car wreck and had to have her thoracic spine radiated. But it gets calmer for the next couple years! Then in 2019 she got a surprise when her cancer mutated to triple negative. She had a successful run on Ibrance for 2 1/2 years and a year on Xeloda. Now that she’s triple negative, it has been quite a battle to get that nasty little beast under control. Her faith, family and her art have kept her going. She is excited to create art, rely on faith and family to keep her going and to push through the terrible days.
