John Rosengard was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in November 2017 after experiencing a lot of back pain. He started treatment with Dr. Nina Shah a few weeks later by way of joining a clinical trial. A fun fact about him is that both he and Dr. Shah are frequent fliers on United Airlines, and they trade lessons learned.
