Dr. Joshua Richter is Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Tisch Cancer Institute at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Dr. Richter attended Johns Hopkins University for undergraduate training followed by medical school at New York Medical College. He then went on to an internship and residency training at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in New York. Dr. Richter received fellowship training at Yale Cancer Center where he worked with Madhav Dhodapkar. After fellowship training, he joined the Multiple Myeloma Division at Hackensack University Medical Center with Drs. David Siegel an David Vesole. In 2018, Dr. Richter joined the Mount Sinai / Tisch Cancer Institute in the Myeloma Division alongside Sundar Jagannath and Bart Barlogie. His research has been published in such journals as the Journal of Clinical Oncology, Blood and the British Journal of Hematology. Dr. Richter is a member of the international myeloma working group and have acted as principle investigator and sub-investigator on dozens of clinical trials in Phase I, II and III settings.
