Linda Cooper is a licensed clinical social worker as well as a certified oncology social worker. She joined RMCC in the spring of 2008. Linda received her undergraduate degree in psychology and Spanish from Otterbein College in Westerville, Ohio and her social work degree from the University of Chicago’s School of Service Administration. She also has a certificate in gerontology from the University of Illinois. She recently completed the course entitled Improving Quality of Life for Oncology Family Caregivers offered by NCI/City of Hope. Linda has worked as a social worker in oncology and psychiatry services, hospitals and clinic settings, hospice programs, hospital emergency rooms, and geriatric settings. She is especially committed to working with older adults on their cancer journey and advocating for all cancer patients as they grapple with quality-of-life issues.
