Dr. Mark Marinella currently specializes in Hematology and Oncology as part of the Dayton Physicians Network. He is board certified in medical oncology and internal medicine with primary medical interests in lymphoma and blood cancers, breast cancer, GU cancer, lung cancer and acute oncology care. He is also interested in researching how nutrition effects those living with cancer.
After earning his undergraduate degree from Mount Union college, Dr. Marinella earned his medical degree from Wright State University School of Medicine. He performed his residency at Michigan Medical Center in Internal Medicine, and a medical oncology fellowship at Wright State University School of Medicine.
He has served as Chair of Oncology Committee at Miami Valley Hospital and as Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Wright State School of Medicine in the hematology/oncology fellowship program.
Dr. Marinella has also lectured and authored over 100 articles and chapters in various medical journals and medical books. He has also written seven of his own books, to include “Handbook of Oncologic Emergencies” and “Metronomic Phytonutrition: How regular daily intake of a plant-based diet may decrease cancer risk.”
