Megan-Claire Chase is a sought-after influencer and blogger in the Young Adult Cancer community both nationally and internationally. Her blog Life on the Cancer Train is about her life post breast cancer (Stage IIA Invasive Lobular). It is known for being authentic, raw and informative with a twist of humor. It is also syndicated on Cancer Health Magazine’s website.

Megan-Claire, also known as Warrior Megsie, is a powerful communicator, public speaker, researcher and published writer. She is a passionate advocate who is effective in shedding light on the struggles and trials for those patients and survivors diagnosed under 40 years old.

As a thought-leader in all things related to the cancer experience as a young adult, she highlights quality of life issues post-cancer, dating and relationships, infertility, palliative care, the need for more supportive and financial resources, and research for better posttreatment options.

She co-authored and presented an abstract titled, “You don’t really have a say in anything…like you don’t have any options”: AYA Cancer Survivors’ Perspectives on Fertility Preservation Conversations with Healthcare Providers at the 16th Annual American Psychosocial Oncology Society (APOS) in Atlanta, GA in February 2019.This abstract was also accepted for a Poster Symposia II: Sexual and Reproductive Health oral presentation at the annual meeting of the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine in Washington, DC March 2019, and published in the medical journal Psycho-Oncology.
