Dr. Nina Shah is a specialist in blood diseases who focuses on treating multiple myeloma, a type of cancer affecting certain cells in the bone marrow. She is a hematologist-oncologist at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) Health. Her areas of professional interest include the intersection of immunology and oncology as well as helping patients fight multiple myeloma by boosting their immune systems. Dr. Shah earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Cognitive Neuroscience at Harvard University, followed by an MD from New York University School of Medicine. She completed a residency in internal medicine at Columbia University and a fellowship in hematology-oncology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
