Susan Mantel is Senior Vice President of Research and Education with the LUNGevity Foundation. She received her BA from Haverford College and her MBA in marketing, finance and health services management from the JL Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
Susan first joined LUNGevity Foundaton in December 2011 as Vice President of Programs and Marketing—bringing with her over 12 years of experience working with clinicians and researchers to advance options and knowledge in oncology, infectious disease and behavioral health.
She has supported family members with lung cancer, including an uncle and a cousin—and has seen cancer affect family and friends over a wide age range from 15 to 85 years of age. Through her passion for her work at LUNGevity, Susan is dedicated to improving quality of life and outcomes for those with lung cancer. She lives in Hoboken, New Jersey where she enjoys its many restaurants, quick access to Broadway and easy escapes to the great outdoors.
