Christopher Curtis was diagnosed with head and neck cancer in 2011. Not long after he decided to help other patients and he founded The Swallows, a UK based charity that empowers and offers support to those affected by head and neck cancer. Curtis believes that awareness and understanding treatment and its side effects are the main challenges for these patients.
This interview was recorded at the ESMO 2017 congress and it is part of an educational program by the Patient Empowerment Foundation (PEF).
