Thai Stir-Fried Noodles
1 teaspoon of sugar
1 tablespoon of low sodium soy sauce
1 teaspoon of toasted sesame oil
1/2 teaspoon of coconut oil
2 crushed garlic cloves
Your favorite noodle, preferably a flat noodle
Baby broccoli or Chinese broccoli
Crispy tofu or meat of your choice
Garnish with sesame seeds
Salt and pepper to taste
Whisk 1 teaspoon of sugar, 1 tablespoon of low sodium soy sauce and 1 teaspoon of toasted sesame oil together and set aside.
Chop baby broccoli at an angle.
Boil your favorite noodle (follow package instructions), preferably a flat noodle or flat rice noodle and set aside.
Heat up wok under medium flame or heat. Add ½ teaspoon of coconut oil and a generous teaspoon of sesame oil. Add crushed garlic to oil. Allow garlic to slightly brown, then add noodles and broccoli.
Drizzle sauce (sugar, soy sauce and sesame seed oil) over dish. Add your favorite meat or substitute with tofu. Stir vigorously for 3 minutes. Garnish with sesame seeds. Serve and enjoy!
