Access to the Right Testing and Treatment at the Right Time in Lung Cancer

“What should I be tested for?” This is the question that lung cancer expert, Dr. Ross Camidge of University of Colorado in Denver that every lung cancer patient should ask their treating physician.  Dr. Camidge urges patients and doctors to stay abreast of the latest testing and treatment guidelines by investing time in self-education.  Dr. Camidge suggests the following organizations:  NCCN.org, ASCO, College of American Pathologists (CAP) and the IASLC.

This in-person town meeting was sponsored by the Patient Empowerment Network through educational grants from Helsinn, Genentech and Novartis, with additional funding from LUNGevity Foundation through an educational grant from Pfizer.
